Biografia

Composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist Marco Sinopoli has dedicated his training to the study of classical composition and jazz studying with many of the best Italian musicians and teachers.
Over the years he has collaborated as a guitarist in Italy and abroad with various artists, in the field of jazz and light music, including Fabrizio Bosso, Javier Girotto, Lino Patruno, Nicola Stilo, Peppino Gagliardi, Max Gagliardi, Daniele Sepe, Sergio Cammariere, Francesco Di Giacomo, Alessandro Gwis, Scott Henderson, Baraonna, The Session's Voice, Natalino Marchetti, Simone Alessandrini, Alessandro Marzi.

At the same time, in addition to working in the studio as a shift worker and arranger, he composes music for theatrical performances, short films, advertisements and documentaries.

He has received several commissions as a composer from entities such as "Nuova Consonanza", "Macerata Arena Sferisterio", "Accademia Filarmonica Romana", "Paolo Grassi Foundation", "Seminario de Cultura Mexicana", "Academy of the Cathedral of San Giovanni", "Un organ for Rome "and collaborating with various formations and soloists including Sentieri Selvaggi, Quintet of wind instruments from Mexico City, Mitja Quartet, Academy of the Cathedral of San Giovanni, Imago Sonora, A.Carbonare trio, Michele Marco Rossi, Samuele Telari, Bruno Paolo Lombardi, Silvia Cappellini, Andrea Corsi, Luca Cipriano, Alessandra Amorino, Angelo Bruzzese.

 

In 2018 he founded the "Marco Sinopoli-Extradiction" ensemble with which he developed his own original music in a transversal approach between classical composition and modern jazz.

In 2019 he won the international competition "OperaMacerataFestival 2.0" receiving the commission for the creation of the original work called "Can you heart me?" with debut at the "Lauro Rossi Theater", which will be followed by several replicas. The same show is also staged for the 2019 season of "Roma Europa Festival".
