Surreal Sound Project started in 2020 as a solo project by italian Diego Marchionni. After an experimental debut (Inspired By Lights, 2021) and a garage rock extravaganza (Ginseng Party, 2022) the project returns with an enlarged family of collaborators, as well as new permanent member Riccardo Marinelli, who took part in the third chapter "Chasing Dawn." due to be released on May 31st. The album is totally self-produced and recorded at home. Exploring different styles and energy leaps, it was conceived by the seaside and gifts a variety of infatuated, thoughtful and bittersweet lyrics. In September 2024, bassist Gabriele Diotalevi joined the project.
